Ordering & delivery
How do I order PCAT BLOCK C?
On WhatsApp: message +263 77 264 6364 with your order and your area, and we arrange payment and delivery from there. There is no online checkout — a real person handles every order.
How much does it cost?
US$20 per 50-litre bag. Bulk and wholesale pricing is agreed directly — message us with your volumes.
I'm not in Harare — can I still order?
Yes. We deliver across Zimbabwe and are signing up agro-dealers province by province. Order on WhatsApp for delivery, collect in Harare, or ask your local agro-dealer to stock 321.
Can someone in the diaspora buy for a farm back home?
Yes — this happens often. Message us on WhatsApp, tell us where the farm is, and we'll arrange a payment route that works from abroad and deliver to your people at home.
Payment
How do I pay?
EcoCash, InnBucks, OneMoney, ZIPIT or bank transfer locally — and cash on delivery within selected zones.
Do you take card or PayPal?
Not at the moment. Local payment rails cover almost every order; if you're paying from outside Zimbabwe, message us and we'll find a route that works.
The product & how to use it
What exactly is PCAT BLOCK C?
A locally-made, sieved organic compost developed over more than a decade by PCAT and incubated at the Harare Institute of Technology. It rebuilds tired, acidic, compacted soil — structure, moisture-holding, microbial life and pH — rather than just feeding one crop.
How much compost do I need?
It depends on your crop and bed size. The best-documented Zimbabwean range is 20–30 t/ha for heavy feeders like cabbage. Our guide 'How much compost do you need?' lists cited rates crop by crop, converts tonnes-per-hectare into 50L bags, and includes a quick calculator — or message us with your crop and land size and we'll advise. For field crops you don't broadcast — you spot-apply Block C per planting station (the Pfumvudza/Intwasa method it was proven with in the SCIT trials), so a hectare needs a fraction of the broadcast volume. Recommended per-station rates are being finalised with PCAT/HIT and will publish here.
Do I still need lime?
In most Zimbabwean soils, no — Block C raises and balances pH as it breaks down. If a soil test shows extreme acidity, talk to us first and we will advise honestly. This is based on SCIT field results; independent pH confirmation is under way and will publish here.
Can I use it alongside mineral fertiliser?
Yes — and Zimbabwe's own trial evidence suggests blends often beat either alone. Block C builds the soil so a smaller, well-timed mineral top-up works harder. See our guide on what Zimbabwe's trials show.
Which crops is it for?
Our field validation covers maize, soya and horticulture. We don't currently make claims for tobacco or potato programmes — if that's your rotation, message us and we'll be straight about what we do and don't yet have data for.
How is it different from kraal manure?
Raw kraal manure is variable, can carry weed seeds, and can burn young crops if used fresh. Block C is composted, sieved clean and standardised — consistent quality you can apply with confidence.
Science & verification
What proof is there that it works?
PCAT BLOCK C was the soil-and-moisture core of the SCIT conservation-irrigation trials in Chirumanzu, where the integrated system (compost, planting-station potholes and precision spot irrigation) reached up to 18 tonnes of maize per hectare. The full research story — and what is still in verification — is on our Research page.
What's the NPK analysis?
In independent laboratory verification now. We publish the results — unedited — on the product and research pages the moment they return. We would rather say "being verified" than quote a number we do not yet hold.
Is it registered?
Independent lab analysis and formal registration are being finalised. We'll show the paperwork the moment it's confirmed — we won't claim a registration we don't yet hold.
Stockists & bulk
Can my shop stock PCAT BLOCK C?
Yes — we're building the dealer network province by province. See the Stockists & Bulk page or message us on WhatsApp with your business name, area and expected volumes.
Do you supply schools, estates or NGO programmes?
We do bulk supply for institutions and programmes. Terms are agreed directly — start the conversation on WhatsApp or through the stockists page.
